The One Piece manga went on break due to Weekly Shonen Jump not being available last week, which means that the series now returns after a 2-week break in an exciting fashion.
With the Egghead Island Arc nearing its end, it’s time for the Straw Hat Pirates to embark on a new journey as they sail for Elbaf. In the previous chapter, the Straw Hats successfully departed Egghead Island, that means the upcoming chapter is going to be very important in setting the tone for what is next and laying the groundwork for Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates’ next adventure.
Chapter 1123 Spoilers
According to the spoilers, Chapter 1123 is titled “The two empty weeks”. On the cover page, we see Yamato and the kids eat together.
The chapter starts with the fall of all the Marines, and even the vice admirals. This happened because the Giant Robot released Conqueror’s Haki. Dorry and Brogy say that this Haki could be even higher/stronger than Shanks’.
Then we see the Giant’s ship and the Sunny set sail to Elbaf. Sanji looks at Vegapunk’s corpse.
A Little Flashback
Two weeks ago, Shaka discovered there was some change in the Data laboratory. Shaka shared the information with Vegapunk and Pythagoras, they discovered there’s a Vegapunk that betrayed them. They thought the traitor was Litith, but they found out it was York.
Vegapunk : “Using ‘greed’ to create her was a mistake”.
When they heard about the Lulusia kingdom’s incident 1 week later, they realized there’s no escape.
Vegapunk, Shaka, and Pythagoras prepared their counterattack, Vegapunk modified the Giant Robot to the Den Den Mushi and they recorded the video for the broadcast. Then they deleted the last 2 weeks from their memories to hide the plan they prepared from York.
After deleting their memories, Vegapunk found a message he left for himself: “Have faith in yourself and die.”
The chapter ends on the present, with the giants Pirates, Usopp, and Luffy celebrating going to Elbaf.
Usopp: “To the land of my dream!! ELBAF!!”
The last part is something Vegapunk said to Sanji in Egghead.
Vegapunk : “About the One Piece…. I want your crew to get it!!”
